FLUXUS is an all-day café located at a central point in the suburb of Kryoneri. The existing store, due to its privileged corner position, offers an unobstructed view of tall, deciduous trees from both its facades. The primary objective of the design was to open up internal views to the external greenery and reciprocally allow the infusion of green elements into the internal space, with the aim of crafting an internal "garden" as an extension of urban greenery.

Thus, the layout is centered around a large L-shaped bar positioned to overlook the corner of the openings. This, coupled with the creation of large opening glass windows, allows for optimal visual access, capturing expansive views.

On a second level, elevated from the ground, a system of metallic structures is organized. This system receives the greenery, allowing it to 'flood' the interior space.

The selection of materials is categorized into two distinctive groups, creating a deliberate contrast. On one hand, there are the more natural and handcrafted materials such as the mosaic of the bar and the flooring, cement plaster on wall surfaces, and wooden finishes. On the other hand, there are the industrial materials like metal meshes and steel used in the construction of plantings and the framing of facades.

The lighting scheme aims to highlight the central idea of integrating greenery and provide a contrasting experience at night compared to that of the day, placing more emphasis on the industrial character of the space.
